About this fabric

This fabric has a calm, lightly textured surface with fine vertical slubs and a subtle woven grain that gives the pink its depth. The composition is 41% viscose, 40% linen, 11% cotton, 5% acrylic and 3% polyester, so it has the natural character of linen with a slightly smoother finish. At approximately 139cm wide, it is a practical cloth for a range of scheme sizes, and the repeat is effectively absent at V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The colour is a softened old pink rather than a bright rose, which keeps it looking understated and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Carnforth Old Pink on a chaise, bedroom cushions or relaxed curtains where the pale rosy tone can sit against chalky whites, oak or weathered brass. It is especially pretty in rooms that need colour without contrast, since the woven texture stops the shade from feeling flat.
