About this fabric

Carnforth Forest from Colefax and Fowler’s Tarn collection is a fabric with a subtle vertical stripe effect and a very low-key, natural handle. The composition blends 41% viscose, 40% linen, 11% cotton, 5% acrylic and 3% polyester, giving the cloth its lightly crisp texture and softly slubbed appearance. With a width of approximately 139cm and repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as an uncomplicated, easy-to-place design. The colourway is a muted green with cooler minty and sage notes, lifted by pale vertical highlights that keep the overall look fresh rather than dense. It is best read as an understated, textured plain-stripe suitable for relaxed schemes.

How to use it

Use Carnforth Forest on loose covers, bench seating or slim curtains where the pale striping can bring movement without overpowering the room. Its cool green tone sits especially well with oak, chalky whites and other softly natural finishes.
