Carnforth Coral

Tarn FabricF4799-01

Carnforth Coral shows a soft coral-pink ground with a gently weathered, woven look and subtle vertical striation. The finish feels light and airy, with the colour sitting between blush and apricot rather than a strong orange coral.

About this fabric

From Colefax and Fowler’s Tarn collection, this fabric is woven in a 41% viscose, 40% linen, 11% cotton, 5% acrylic and 3% polyester blend, giving the surface a crisp yet softly handled feel. The colourway is a delicate coral pink, warmed by a hint of peach and lifted by the linen-rich texture, so the weave catches the light without looking shiny. With a width of approximately 139cm and a zero repeat in both directions, it offers an easy, versatile layout for upholstered pieces or window treatments. The overall effect is calm and understated, with the vertical texture giving the cloth more depth than a plain solid.

How to use it

Use Carnforth Coral to bring warmth to a painted scheme of chalky whites, pale oak and muted taupe. Its gentle coral tone works especially well on a compact armchair, Roman blind or relaxed curtains where the woven texture can read clearly.

A warm coral tone that feels fresh on upholstery and softly luminous at the window.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Carnforth Coral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
