This shade reads as a soft, grounded green with a clear yellow warmth, so it lifts a room without turning pale or minty. On a wall, #D3C699 feels light enough to open the space, but its earthy note keeps it from looking stark or cool. In north-facing light it leans a little more olive and subdued, while in south-facing rooms the yellow warmth comes forward and the colour feels sunnier and more generous.
