About this colour

This shade reads as a warm pale neutral with a little grey in it, so it avoids looking sugary or stark. The #D4CABE value gives it enough depth to hold its own beside natural oak, walnut, or painted joinery, while still feeling light on a wall. In north-facing rooms it can seem more subdued and slightly cooler, with the beige tone taking on a quiet stone-like note. In south-facing light it becomes gentler and creamier, lifting the room without turning bright or yellow. It works well in Acrylic Eggshell on woodwork for a smooth, tailored contrast, and in Elite Emulsion or True Matt on walls where you want a restrained backdrop for patterned curtains or upholstered pieces.
