About this colour

This shade reads as a soft greige with a slight creamy cast, so it feels warmer than a true grey and lighter than a beige. Its pale value lifts light well without turning stark, and it keeps a room calm rather than bright. In a north-facing room it can look a touch cooler and more muted, bringing a subtle misty tone; in south-facing light it becomes warmer and more even, with the beige side of the colour showing more clearly. On walls, Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion and True Matt will all keep the colour readable and relaxed, with the finish chosen to suit the surface and the level of sheen you want beside upholstery, timber and joinery.

How to use it
