At #A199A6, Grey Violet reads as a pale to mid-depth greyed lilac with a cool base and just enough warmth in the undertone to stop it feeling icy. It reflects light softly rather than bouncing it, so it can make a wall feel settled and slightly shaded. In north-facing rooms it will look cooler and more silvered, with the violet note a little more apparent. In south-facing light it becomes gentler and more balanced, showing the grey first and the colour second. It works well beside pale oak, dark stained timber, and upholstery in stone, charcoal, heather, or dusty pink tones.

How to use it
