About this colour

This shade has a quiet lavender undertone, so it feels more composed than a plain grey and less pink than a blush. On a wall, #D7D0D8 lifts the room without becoming bright, holding light in a muted way that keeps the colour airy. In north-facing light it can look a little cooler and more silvered, while south-facing rooms bring out the lilac note and make it feel slightly warmer. It works well beside pale oak, walnut, painted white joinery and muted upholstery colours such as stone, heather and soft mushroom. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion or True Matt, it keeps the same restrained character across walls and woodwork.

How to use it
