About this colour

This shade reads as a gentle beige-grey with a soft, lifted quality, so it brightens a room while still feeling calm and grounded. In north-facing light it can lean a little cooler and more stone-like, while in south-facing rooms the warmth comes forward and the colour feels softer and more inviting. Against white woodwork it looks restrained and tailored, and beside oak, walnut or washed linen it keeps its balance without competing. In Acrylic Eggshell it works well on joinery, while Elite Emulsion and True Matt keep the colour quietly even on walls.

How to use it

Mist suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where you want a pale backdrop that is not stark. It sits well with natural woodwork, taupe upholstery and muted green or blue accents.
