About this fabric

Mistral FR Sand from Porter & Stone’s Shimmer FR collection is a 140cm-wide fabric with no pattern repeat, and its 95% polyester, 5% lurex composition gives the surface a faint, reflective lift. In this colourway, the ground reads as a mellow sand beige while the motif sits in deeper brown tones, creating a restrained contrast rather than a bold graphic effect. The small-scale diamond-and-oval pattern feels orderly and refined, with the lurex adding just enough shimmer to catch the light without looking flashy. It is a versatile textile for schemes that need warmth, texture and a neat geometric rhythm.
