About this fabric

Sherborne Duck Egg by Porter & Stone is woven in 70% viscose and 30% linen, giving the cloth a softly relaxed handle and a subtle, light-catching finish. At 140cm wide with no pattern repeat, it is an easy choice for clean-lined upholstery or fluid window treatments. In this colourway, the duck-egg note reads cool and muted rather than bright, with a silvery green tint that feels fresh but understated. The visible weave adds a lived-in texture without any strong pattern, so the fabric feels calm and adaptable.

How to use it

Use Sherborne Duck Egg to soften pale oak, limewashed walls and chalky neutrals, where its cool green-blue tone can add a gentle wash of colour. It also layers well with white cottons and brushed brass for a light, understated scheme.

A calm, airy shade that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
