Midori Lilac

Midori FabricCCF0219-24

Midori Lilac has a pale pink-lilac colour that reads cool and softly muted across the surface. Fine intersecting threads create a lightly irregular, linen-like texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke fabric weighs 112 gsm, giving the cloth a light, fluid character suited to drapery. Its softly crosshatched weave combines lilac, blush-pink and lighter threads, creating subtle tonal variation as the light moves across it. With a 297 cm usable width, it can provide broad curtain drops with minimal joining. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so the quiet woven surface does not require motif matching; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Midori Lilac for full-length curtains in a cool, softly coloured room, where its pink-lilac tone can sit against chalky whites, pale greys or light timber. Its relaxed texture also works well as a gentle contrast to smoother upholstery and polished finishes.

A pale, cool lilac-pink ground with a softly crosshatched weave for understated curtains and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
