Midori Ivory is a quietly textured plain fabric in a soft ivory cream. Its surface shows a fine, lightly irregular crosshatched weave that gives the pale colour gentle depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The warm ivory ground is light and softly blended, with subtle vertical and horizontal yarn variation visible across the swatch. At 112gsm, this is a fine, fluid cloth that is best suited to drapery rather than hard-wearing upholstery. The 297cm usable width allows broad curtain drops with minimal joins, while the 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats confirm its uninterrupted plain construction. Its standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Pair Midori Ivory with warm white walls, pale oak and natural stone for a calm, softly layered scheme. The creamy tone can also brighten darker rooms without the sharper contrast of a pure white fabric.

Use this softly textured ivory cloth for light, understated curtains where its fine weave can remain visible.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
