Stratus Seafoam

Magma Fabric

Stratus Seafoam has a cool, misted look, with pale seafoam blue strokes drifting across a soft ivory ground. The vertical painterly pattern gives it a calm, weathered feel rather than a crisp geometric one.

About this fabric

This colourway in Fryett's Fabrics' Magma collection is 100% polyester, 140cm wide, with a 46cm pattern repeat and care instructions BQW1<. The fabric shows a layered abstract surface of washed seafoam, blue-grey and chalky off-white, with slender vertical striations that add movement and texture. Its overall effect is light and airy, but the deeper blue notes keep the design from looking flat. As a textile with no performance features noted, it reads as a decorative all-rounder for schemes that want softness without fuss.

How to use it

Use it with pale oak, brushed nickel and white-painted finishes to lean into the cool, coastal palette. It also works well on a statement chair or relaxed drapery where the vertical movement can be seen from a distance.

A cool, watery stripe-like abstract that softens clean-lined seating or breezy curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
