Stratus Charcoal

Magma Fabric

Stratus Charcoal has a cool, weathered look, with vertical striations and softened abstract patches moving across a charcoal ground. The lighter grey areas lift the surface just enough to keep the design from reading flat.

About this fabric

This colourway of Stratus reads as layered charcoal, slate and smoke, with the pattern appearing slightly distressed rather than sharply drawn. The 100% polyester cloth is 140cm wide and has a 46cm pattern repeat, giving the design a clear vertical rhythm across the surface. Its visible texture suggests a fabric that sits neatly in the room while still bringing movement and depth to the finish. The muted contrast makes it feel tonal and restrained, rather than bold or highly decorative.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or window treatment where the charcoal base can ground lighter upholstery and timber finishes. It pairs especially well with pale stone, concrete tones and brushed metal details.

A cool charcoal ground that works well when you want pattern without brightness.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
