About this fabric

Prism Platinum from Fryett's Fabrics is a 100% polyester fabric, 145cm wide, with a pattern repeat of 18.5cm vertical by 26cm horizontal. The weave reads as a broken, mottled surface rather than a crisp motif, with charcoal and mid-grey threads interlacing to create a pale platinum haze over a deeper grey base. In this colourway, the overall effect is cool and urban, with enough tonal variation to keep the cloth from looking flat. It is a practical textile choice where you want visual texture without introducing a strong colour statement, and the repeat gives the design a steady, structured rhythm across larger areas.

How to use it

Use it to anchor contemporary seating, especially in rooms built around black metal, oak, or pale stone finishes. Its cool grey tone also works well alongside white walls and smoked glass for a restrained, tailored scheme.

A sleek neutral with enough texture to soften modern schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
