Zephyr Ochre

Magma Fabric

Zephyr Ochre has a softly striated surface in warm ochre, beige and pale cream tones, giving the fabric a dry, lightly brushed look. The fine vertical movement keeps the colourway lively while still reading calm and natural.

About this fabric

This Fabric from Fryett's Fabrics' Magma collection is woven in 65% Polyester 35% Cotton and comes in a 140cm width, with a 68cm pattern repeat. The surface shows a slender vertical stripe effect made up of pale, threadlike streaks over a sandy ochre ground, creating a textured, sun-warmed appearance. The colour sits between golden beige and muted mustard, so it feels warmer than a neutral but less saturated than a true yellow. Its mid-scale repeat and clearly woven texture make it suitable for adding depth to curtains or upholstered pieces without overpowering the room.

How to use it

Use Zephyr Ochre to bring warmth to pale woods, stone and other natural finishes, where its soft gold-beige tone will add quiet depth. It works especially well in rooms that need colour but still want an easy, grounded feel.

A warm ochre ground with fine pale striations that softens a room without feeling flat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
