Beatrix Ochre

Misc Fabric

Beatrix Ochre has a warm, sunlit ground that lets the scrolling floral print read softly rather than sharply. The ivory pattern and dark outline give the design a gentle vintage contrast against the ochre base.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 137cm wide, Beatrix Ochre has a comfortable, natural handle suited to decorative interiors. The 62cm pattern repeat allows the large floral and foliate motifs to open up across larger pieces without feeling cramped. In this colourway, the ochre ground reads as muted and mellow, with a slightly earthy yellow tone rather than a bright mustard. Ivory leaves and petals sit over the base with charcoal outlining, creating clear definition while keeping the overall effect soft and lived-in. NQT1 care instructions should be followed to help preserve the look of the fabric.

How to use it

Use this ochre version to bring warmth to a neutral scheme, especially alongside aged wood, cane, or painted creams. It works particularly well where you want pattern with a softened, heritage feel rather than a bold contrast.

A warm ochre ground with soft ivory and charcoal motifs suits relaxed upholstery or fuller drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
