About this fabric

This colourway reads as a rich ochre gold rather than a bright yellow, with a muted, earthy warmth that feels settled and inviting. The fine woven texture gives the surface a subtle striated look, adding depth without introducing a pattern, and the 140cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects. Made from 59% cotton and 41% polyester, it balances a natural hand with the added resilience of polyester, while the n/a pattern repeat keeps joins straightforward. The overall effect is smart but not formal, with a dry, softly matte finish that suits the grounded tone of the colour.

How to use it

Pair this ochre shade with walnut, tobacco leather and painted oak for a layered, mid-century feel, or use it as a warm contrast against off-white walls and charcoal accents. It works especially well where you want colour with depth rather than glare.

Use for upholstery or drapery when you want a warm, golden accent with a subtle woven texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
