Galloway Plaid Beige

Lisle FabricF2306-04

Galloway Plaid Beige shows a classic tartan check softened by a warm, sandy ground. The overlaid lines of rust, olive, blue-grey and black give the swatch a quiet country-house character.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, this Lisle collection fabric has a pleasingly dry, lightly napped handle that reads as substantial without feeling heavy. The plaid is set on a muted beige base, with a softly faded mix of rust red, mossy green, pale blue-grey and charcoal lines that keep the pattern grounded and versatile. Its approx. 152cm width and approx. V 30cm / H 25.5cm repeat make the check easy to plan for cushions, chairs or lined curtains. The overall effect is warm and traditional rather than high-contrast, with the beige ground taking the strongest visual role.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, window seat or upholstered ottoman to bring in a gentle heritage note. It sits especially well with aged wood, oatmeal linens and muted greens, where the beige ground and softened plaid colours can read calm and tailored.

A warm, heritage plaid that suits tailored upholstery or relaxed drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
