About this wallpaper

The dark blue ground gives this colourway a cool, ink-like depth, setting off the near-white opal flowers and luminous turquoise leaves. Fine blue linework defines the petals, stems and smaller foliage, while scattered yellow flowers punctuate the composition with warm flashes. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length, with a 45.5 cm vertical pattern repeat and a supplied horizontal repeat of 0 cm. Its listed weight is 188 gsm.

How to use it

Use the midnight ground to create a dramatic study, dining room or bedroom scheme, pairing it with dark timber and pale upholstery that echoes the opal blooms. Brushed brass or warm ochre accents can pick up the small yellow flowers without competing with the turquoise foliage.

A richly patterned midnight ground brings out the icy opal blooms, turquoise foliage and small golden-yellow flowers.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pimpernel Midnight/Opal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
