About this fabric

At 470gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery, with a 138cm usable width and a standard 25m length. Slender stems and repeated leaves create an intricate botanical field, while the 95cm vertical and 71.5cm horizontal pattern repeats give the design a clearly considered scale. The muted sage base reads cool and slightly greyed rather than bright, allowing the darker olive foliage to settle into a calm, woodland-like tone. A thread count of 64.7 threads per centimetre supports the closely textured appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use Branch Loden/Sage on a compact sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool, greyed sage ground can temper warm timber and leather. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged oak and deeper olive accents to draw out the layered foliage without making the room feel overly colourful.

A weighty, tonal botanical weave that brings subdued sage and olive depth to upholstered furniture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Branch Loden/Sage without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
