Tulip Artichoke/Gold

Archive III Prints FabricMOF0065-03

This Artichoke/Gold colourway lays a muted artichoke-green ground beneath repeated tulip-like blooms picked out in warm cream and restrained gold. Fine curling stems and densely drawn leaves fill the ground, giving the swatch a quietly intricate, archival character.

About this fabric

The muted artichoke ground is cooler and softer than the gold accents, allowing the cream flower heads and tan-gold details to stay legible without becoming bright. Each stylised bloom rises through scrolling leaves and slender stems, with the 60.5 cm vertical repeat and 22.5 cm horizontal repeat setting a compact, regular rhythm across the cloth. At 230 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this mid-weight fabric is suited to both upholstery and drapery; no performance features are noted for the supplied SKU. The specification also records 92 threads per cm and a standard length of 60 m.

How to use it

Use the softened artichoke ground on a reading-chair cushion, occasional chair or relaxed curtain, then draw out its warm gold detailing with aged brass, walnut and cream upholstery. Its muted green tone also sits comfortably with stone, putty and natural linen.

Pair the muted artichoke ground with warm neutrals and aged brass for a softly collected scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tulip Artichoke/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
