About this fabric

Part of the Amalfi collection by J Brown, this fabric is a 100% polyester plain specified for contract use, with a 60,000 Martindale rub and a back coating to cigarette & match to BS5852. The swatch reads as a soft fossil grey, with a slightly cool, mineral cast and a low-contrast texture that keeps the surface looking refined and steady. Its fine weave gives the colour a smooth, matte appearance rather than a shiny finish, making it feel quietly tailored. Professional dry clean in situ is advised, with further care instructions available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this fossil grey on banquettes, dining chairs or contract seating where a restrained, professional finish is needed. It pairs especially well with pale oak, charcoal accents and crisp white trims.
