Tudor Damask Indigo

Arcadian Weaves FabricZOF0210-02

Tudor Damask Indigo presents a finely detailed, repeating fan-like damask in a quiet indigo blue-grey. Pale woven lines pick out each scalloped motif, giving the surface a softly intricate appearance without a strong contrast.

About this fabric

This is a substantial 462gsm fabric with a tightly constructed feel, recorded at 58 threads per centimetre. The cool indigo ground is softened by lighter blue-grey patterning, so the overall colour reads as muted and atmospheric rather than bright or saturated. Its small damask repeat measures 9cm vertically by 6cm horizontally, creating a closely spaced rhythm across the swatch. With a 134cm usable width and 35m standard length, it offers practical coverage for upholstery projects requiring a continuous, finely patterned cloth.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo colourway on a reading chair, dining seat or upholstered bench, where its small-scale pattern can add depth without overwhelming the furniture. Pair it with chalky neutrals, weathered wood and brushed metal to bring out its blue-grey character.

A dense, cool-toned woven damask suited to upholstered chairs, benches and occasional furniture.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tudor Damask Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
