About this fabric

This 379 gsm velvet has a dramatic, vertically streaked appearance, with near-black elephant tones forming a deep central field and olive-mustard colour emerging along the sides. Muted stone and taupe-grey areas soften the contrast, while the pile catches the light in narrow, shifting highlights. The fabric has a 144 cm usable width and supplied pattern repeats of 0 cm vertically and horizontally. With 64 threads per cm, its closely formed surface suits substantial upholstery where the dark, layered colour can become a focal point.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or sofa in a room with warm stone walls, aged timber and brushed metal. Its olive-mustard flashes add earthy colour without losing the dramatic depth of the elephant charcoal ground.
