Echo Ocean

What's New Fabric

Echo Ocean pairs a clean pale ground with short, painterly horizontal strokes in soft ocean blue and warm sandy gold. The effect is breezy and understated, with enough texture in the pattern to keep the surface interesting.

About this fabric

Echo Ocean from Fryett's Fabrics is a textile with a 145cm width and a 36cm pattern repeat, woven in 40% polyester and 60% recycled polyester. The design shows evenly spaced, brush-like dashes across a light ivory base, alternating between muted blue and weathered gold tones. The strokes look slightly irregular at the edges, giving the fabric a hand-painted feel rather than a strict geometric stripe. Its mid-weight look reads as adaptable for both upholstery and drapery, especially where a soft coastal palette is wanted without high contrast.

How to use it

Use this colourway with pale timber, chalky neutrals and washed blues to keep the room light and calm. The sandy-gold accents add warmth, so it also sits well with rattan, oak and brushed brass.

Use it for fresh, easy schemes that need a light coastal note without feeling too literal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
