About this fabric

Woven in a 55% polyester 45% cotton blend and measuring 140cm wide, Recco FR Jewel is made as a practical upholstery fabric with a 5.5cm pattern repeat. The design pairs turquoise-blue centres with gold, tan and beige outlines, creating a lively contrast that reads crisp rather than heavy. From a distance the cloth settles into an orderly all-over pattern; up close, the small motif feels detailed and slightly antique in character. The jewel-blue notes bring a cooler, brighter accent, while the sandy ground keeps the overall effect balanced and usable on seating.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement chair, ottoman or banquette where the jewel-blue motif can add interest without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with pale woods, brass accents and soft neutrals that echo the warm outline in the weave.
