About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Soothe FR Denim is a practical upholstery fabric with a plain design and no pattern repeat, making the surface feel calm and uncomplicated. The 140cm width gives useful coverage for seating projects, while the close, granular texture softens the blue into a muted, comfortable tone. In this colourway the shade sits between washed indigo and slate, so it feels cooler than a classic mid-blue but less stark than navy. The texture catches the light subtly rather than shine, which helps the fabric read refined and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use this denim blue on an armchair, ottoman or banquette where you want colour without brightness. It works especially well with pale timber, off-white paintwork and smoky grey accessories.

Pairs easily with pale oak, chalk whites and deeper navy accents.
