About this fabric

This colourway reads as a very dark charcoal black, lifted by tiny lighter flecks across the surface rather than a flat solid tone. The visible weave gives it a lightly textured, almost grainy appearance that adds depth without introducing a pattern. Made from 100% polyester, it is catalogued in the Upholstery collection and has a 140cm width with no pattern repeat. The 1<NQT care instruction should be followed to keep the fabric looking crisp and even.

How to use it

Use Soothe FR Noir on a sofa, occasional chair or bench where the dark tone can anchor a room without feeling stark. It pairs especially well with pale timber, warm brass and soft neutrals for contrast.

A dramatic dark neutral that works best on tailored seating and accent pieces.
