Leopard Noir

Serengeti Fabric

Leopard Noir sets pale leopard motifs against a deep charcoal-black ground, giving the design a strong graphic contrast. The repeat reads clearly across the cloth, with the animals spaced in a calm, orderly rhythm.

About this fabric

This Serengeti fabric by Fryett's Fabrics is 140cm wide and made from 50% polyester and 50% viscose, with a 23cm pattern repeat and care code NQT1<. In this colourway, the ground appears very dark and smoky rather than flat black, which helps the spotted leopard figures stand out with a crisp, sand-toned outline. The woven surface has a subtle sheen that catches light softly, so the motif feels more refined than novelty. It is a versatile textile for upholstery or drapery where a bold decorative pattern is wanted without a bright colour palette.

How to use it

Pair this charcoal-ground leopard print with dark timber, brass and textured neutrals for a tailored, hotel-like scheme. It also works well as a statement chair or curtain in rooms that need pattern without introducing strong colour.

Use it where you want a bold animal motif with a tailored, modern edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
