About this fabric

The fabric is a muted taupe with a gentle beige warmth, rather than a cool grey-brown. Fine dark and pale lines build elongated diamonds, chevrons and intersecting angular bands across the surface. The large-scale geometry is softened by the visible woven texture, which breaks up the linework and gives the colourway quiet depth. Its substantial-looking textile surface makes it particularly suited to upholstered pieces where the pattern can be appreciated at close range.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway on a statement chair, headboard or tailored sofa, balancing its angular pattern with rounded forms and natural timber. Black metal or deep brown accents will draw out the darker lines in the design.

Pair the warm taupe ground with darker wood, black accents and softly textured upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
