Marana Mastic

Longwood FabricL9397-03

Marana Mastic has a soft, chalky cream appearance with a barely-there warmth that reads calm and refined. In this wide-width cloth, the surface falls in gentle folds that let the silk and linen blend catch the light softly.

About this fabric

Marana Mastic from Larsen’s Longwood collection is composed of 60% silk and 40% linen, giving it a subtle lustre balanced by a dry, natural handle. The colourway sits in a pale mastic cream with faint beige warmth, so it looks luminous rather than stark white. Its plain, uninterrupted surface and vertical fall make the texture the main feature, with the weave reading slightly nubby and fluid in the folds. With an approximate width of 315cm and no repeat, it is well suited to large-scale curtains or elegant full-drop interior schemes. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway to soften oak, stone and putty-toned schemes, where its warm cream note can lift the room without harsh contrast. It works especially well as floor-to-ceiling drapery, but the wide width also makes it practical for tailored soft furnishings.

Its pale mastic tone and silky-linen drape suit calm layered interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
