Meadow White

Longwood FabricL9391-01

Meadow White is a softly luminous striped fabric with a washed ivory ground and barely-there warm cream bands. In the image, the woven texture reads light and airy, with the pattern visible mainly through subtle tonal shifts rather than contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% Linen, 45% Polyacrylic and 5% Polyamide, Meadow White has a generous approximate width of 310cm, making it well suited to wide curtains and expansive window drops. The repeat is V 33cm / H 1cm approx, creating broad vertical movement with fine horizontal detail that shows up as gentle banding across the cloth. Visually, the colourway stays close to warm white, with soft ivory and pale oat tones that catch the light without looking stark. The fabric’s relaxed surface and soft drape give the stripes a quiet, woven depth rather than a crisp graphic look.

How to use it

Use Meadow White where you want a room to feel bright but not cold, especially against pale timber, limewashed walls or chalky neutral upholstery. Its warm ivory striping works particularly well in calm coastal, country or pared-back contemporary schemes.

A gentle ivory stripe that keeps a room bright and airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
