Etch Old Navy Denim

Colour 1 Fabrics FabricHAF0025-01

Etch Old Navy Denim is a cool, deep navy-blue textile with the softly faded character of denim. Its close, irregular weave combines inky blue areas with lighter ivory flecks, giving the surface visible depth without a directional motif.

About this fabric

The swatch has a dense, nubby woven texture, with broken navy marks and pale ground threads creating a small-scale, subtly mottled surface. At 628 gsm, it is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery, while the 146 cm usable width offers practical coverage for furniture projects. There is no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so the irregular texture can be positioned freely. Its specification of 52.8 threads per centimetre corresponds with the visibly compact construction, while the standard length is 25 m.

How to use it

Pair this cool old-navy denim tone with chalky whites, stone upholstery or pale oak to bring out its lighter flecks; it also gives warm timber furniture a grounded, relaxed finish.

Use this cool, deep denim-blue upholstery for relaxed seating, where its flecked texture adds depth against pale neutrals or warm timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
