About this fabric

The surface is filled with expressive bird and foliage motifs, with brushstroke-like edges that give the pattern a fluid, painterly character. The Wilderness/Nectar colourway balances pale mint and soft aqua with dark blue-green depth, cream highlights, muted lilac and small warm yellow accents. At 286gsm and 39.3 threads per cm, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 76.5cm vertical repeat and a 68cm horizontal repeat across its 140cm usable width.

How to use it

Use this cool, leafy colourway to enliven a reading chair, curtains or cushions, then repeat its navy, teal and lilac notes through plain linens and painted furniture. The mint ground keeps the dense pattern fresh rather than heavy.

Pair the cool mint ground with natural timber, deep teal or soft cream for a richly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
