About this fabric

The design is filled with overlapping palm fans, fine radiating leaves and feathery fronds in pale amber, warm beige and muted gold, set against an inky black background. The close tonal shifts within the foliage give the pattern depth, while the dark ground makes the lighter leaves appear to catch the light. At 236 gsm and 141 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for upholstery or drapery. Its 68 cm vertical repeat and 68.6 cm horizontal repeat should be allowed for when matching the abundant botanical pattern.

How to use it

Pair this warm amber-and-black colourway with dark timber, aged brass and textured neutral upholstery; used for curtains, it can bring a dramatic botanical layer without losing its earthy warmth.

Use the deep black ground to anchor the warm amber palm motifs in both upholstery and full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
