Truffle Sandstone

Indoor Outdoor Prints OutdoorSAF0438-02

Truffle Sandstone shows a warm sandstone ground scattered with a fine, pebble-like print in soft ochre. The pattern reads lively but understated, with the cream base keeping the overall effect light.

About this fabric

Part of Sanderson’s Indoor Outdoor Prints collection, this outdoor fabric has a usable width of 138 cm and a 20 cm vertical repeat with a 30.5 cm horizontal repeat. At 220 gsm, it sits in a versatile mid-weight that can be used for both upholstery and drapery. Visually, the colourway pairs a pale beige ground with an all-over sandy ochre motif, giving the surface a sun-warmed, mineral feel. The small irregular marks create texture from a distance, while the repeat forms a soft maze-like rhythm up close.

How to use it

Use it to bring a dry, coastal warmth to cushions, banquettes or relaxed garden seating. It sits especially well with oak, rattan and chalky neutrals, where the sandstone tone feels natural rather than bright.

A soft sandy print that feels easygoing yet polished, especially with natural wood and pale linens.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Truffle Sandstone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
