About this fabric

This velvet has a distinctly substantial, tactile look, with the pile catching the light in the teal ground and giving the surface a rich, gently lustrous finish. The wavy bands in ivory sit against the cooler blue-teal background, while the narrow vertical striped sections add a tailored contrast in muted aqua, gold and cream. With a composition of 54% viscose and 46% polyester, a 138cm usable width and a severe contract upholstery grade, it is made for demanding interiors as well as drapery and accessories. A 100,000 Martindale rating underlines its durability, and it is treatable for FR use in both drapery and upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, banquette or cushions where the teal depth can stand out against stone, chalk or pale timber finishes. It also makes a smart curtain or blind fabric when you want pattern with a cool, contemporary edge.

Pair with pale neutrals and natural woods to let the wavy teal pattern stay crisp and contemporary.
