Islabank Purple

Lochore Meadow Fabric

Islabank Purple has a softly mottled lilac-plum tone, shown here in a dense, tactile weave. Its small-scale texture gives the colour depth without introducing a separate motif.

About this fabric

The surface is formed from closely packed, irregular loops that create a chunky, nubby woven texture across the swatch. Purple is the dominant shade, shifting between dusty lilac, cooler violet and deeper plum as the raised threads catch the light. The quiet, all-over texture keeps the design visually understated while giving the colour a softly layered appearance. This is catalogued as a fabric, with no performance features noted.

How to use it

Pair this muted lilac-purple with weathered timber, warm grey or soft cream upholstery details to balance its cool, dusky depth. The tactile weave is especially suited to relaxed seating where its subtle tonal variation can be seen at close range.

Use this softly mottled purple weave to bring tactile depth to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
