Rosslyn Opal

Rosslyn Park Fabric

Rosslyn Opal combines a cool, muted teal ground with softly irregular taupe markings that give the surface a gently weathered, dimensional appearance. Its visibly nubby weave catches the light unevenly, bringing depth to the blue-green colour.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven in a blue-leaning teal, overlaid with broad, looping areas of taupe and sandy beige that create an indistinct, organic pattern. Rather than a crisp repeat, the design appears softly broken and mottled, with lighter threads dispersed through the darker ground. The tactile, slightly nubby surface gives Rosslyn Opal a substantial upholstery character and keeps the cool colourway from feeling flat. The restrained contrast between teal and taupe makes the overall effect quietly decorative rather than bold.

How to use it

Use Rosslyn Opal on a statement armchair, sofa or footstool where its cool teal tone can anchor a room, then pick up the taupe flecks with warm timber, stone or natural linen. Its softened pattern works especially well in relaxed spaces that need texture without a high-contrast print.

A cool, textured teal woven with taupe depth, well suited to relaxed upholstery and characterful seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
