Moray Sands Teal

Moray Fabric

Moray Sands Teal is a close-textured woven fabric in a cool, muted teal, scattered with tiny pale flecks. Its softly irregular surface gives the colour a gently weathered depth rather than a flat, solid appearance.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a small-scale, nubby weave with teal, blue-green and ivory threads interlacing into a subtly mottled surface. Light catches the raised yarns unevenly, bringing small points of pale brightness through the deeper teal ground. This is catalogued as a Fabric; no composition, width, usage or rub-test specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Use this cool teal colourway to add quiet depth to a reading chair, sofa or relaxed curtain scheme, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey-blue accents. The ivory flecks help it sit comfortably beside lighter neutral furnishings without losing its distinctive colour.

The cool teal ground and softly flecked weave bring understated colour and tactile interest to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
