About this fabric

Moray Sands Amber is shown as a close, irregular weave built from amber, caramel and pale sand-coloured threads. The small-scale texture gives the surface a softly nubby character, while lighter flecks break up the warm brown ground. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this fabric, and no performance features are noted. On the evidence of the dense visible weave, it reads as an upholstery-led textile.

How to use it

Use this warm amber-brown colourway on a relaxed occasional chair, headboard or upholstered bench, pairing it with chalky neutrals, timber and other natural textures. Its pale sand flecks can also pick up lighter woven cushions without making the scheme feel flat.

Its warm amber-brown ground and softly flecked weave suit relaxed upholstery where texture can be appreciated.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
