Moray Cove Tide

Moray Fabric

Moray Cove Tide has a cool charcoal blue-grey ground threaded with pale ivory, creating the richly mottled look of a fine tweed. Its close, irregular weave gives the swatch a softly tactile, low-contrast surface.

About this fabric

The colourway shifts between deep blue-grey, charcoal and small ivory highlights as the weave catches the light. Fine horizontal and vertical yarns form a compact, broken check effect rather than a bold printed motif. The dense woven appearance makes it best suited to upholstery, particularly on seating where its structured surface can be appreciated. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Moray Cove Tide on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat alongside chalky walls, smoked oak and brushed metal. Its cool blue-grey depth also works well with navy accents and warm ivory cushions, which pick up the lighter threads in the weave.

A dense, tweed-like blue-grey weave with pale flecks for tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
