Moray Cove Quartz

Moray Fabric

Moray Cove Quartz has a cool, muted character, blending a pale quartz-cream ground with fine charcoal detailing. Its close, tactile weave creates a softly structured surface rather than a flat plain.

About this fabric

This densely woven fabric shows a small-scale, irregular check or basket-weave effect, built from pale cream, quartz and charcoal threads. The darker yarns form fine horizontal and vertical marks that give the surface gentle visual depth without making the pattern dominant. Its compact construction and substantial-looking handle make it particularly well suited to upholstery. In this colourway, the cool stone-like base and restrained contrast create a smart, understated finish.

How to use it

Use Moray Cove Quartz on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool cream-and-charcoal weave can add texture without overpowering the room. Balance it with dark timber, soft grey or muted navy accents.

Use the cool quartz ground with charcoal, navy or warm timber accents for a quietly tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
