Moray Firth Moss

Moray Fabric

Moray Firth Moss is a muted olive-green woven plaid with a softly weathered, tactile surface. Pale green windowpane lines cross the darker moss ground, while finer charcoal lines add depth.

About this fabric

The close, slightly coarse weave gives this textile a substantial appearance suited to upholstery. Its moss-olive base shifts gently between green and brown, with pale intersecting lines standing out clearly against the darker ground. Narrow charcoal lines sit within the larger check, creating a layered plaid rather than a flat graphic grid. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Moray Firth Moss on a country armchair, bench or loose cushion where its muted moss tone can sit alongside timber, leather and warm neutrals. The darker olive depth also makes it a grounded choice for seating in a relaxed study or snug.

The muted moss tone and tactile plaid bring an easy, country-inspired character to upholstered seating and cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
