About this fabric

This 226gsm fabric has a 138cm usable width, making the detailed pattern practical for both upholstery and window treatments. Small birds, stylised flowers and curling leaves interlock across the design, with blush accents adding a gentle warmth to the otherwise cool slate and grey tones. The 27cm vertical and 23cm horizontal repeat creates a continuous, finely scaled pattern rather than a single oversized motif. It is supplied in a standard 40m length.

How to use it

Use this slate-blue and blush colourway on a reading chair, footstool or relaxed curtains, pairing it with chalky cream, weathered wood and soft grey upholstery. Its muted contrast works especially well where a room needs pattern with a calm, collected feel.

A softly muted Morris floral for upholstery, curtains and cushions where detailed pattern is desired without bright colour.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Strawberry Thief Slate/Blush without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
