Mallow Teal

William Morris Designs FabricCCF0712-04

Mallow Teal is a densely drawn floral textile in a cool blue-teal shade, scattered with pale blue-green leaves and small ochre flower details. Its compact botanical pattern creates a richly layered surface without relying on a large-scale motif.

About this fabric

The design is filled with curling stems, clustered leaves and small flowers, with the blue-teal ground giving the colourway a deep, slightly atmospheric character. Pale blue-green botanical marks soften the ground, while muted ochre accents add small points of warmth across the surface. With a 226 gsm weight and 138 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to upholstery and drapery. The 26.5 cm vertical and 46 cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the floral rhythm compact, while the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Pair Mallow Teal with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutral upholstery to balance its cool depth. The ochre flecks can be picked up in cushions or trim without competing with the dense botanical field.

Use the cool teal ground to bring depth to upholstery or curtains, with ochre details adding a warm lift.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mallow Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
