Haldon Teal

Whitworth Fabric FabricCCF0739-07

Haldon Teal is a strongly graphic woven stripe in alternating deep teal and lighter blue-green bands. The cool colour contrast gives the swatch a layered, quietly dramatic appearance as the light moves across its surface.

About this fabric

The design is formed from regularly spaced vertical stripes, with darker teal columns set against softer aqua-teal bands and fine tonal variation within the weave. Its 425gsm weight gives the cloth a substantial handle suited to upholstery. The 9.2cm horizontal repeat records the stripe spacing, while the 0cm vertical repeat allows the pattern to continue without a drop. With a 138cm usable width and 35m standard length, it is practical for coordinating multiple upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Haldon Teal on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its cool, deep teal bands can anchor a room. Balance the stronger stripes with warm wood, pale stone tones or muted blue-green accessories.

Use the cool teal and aqua contrast on tailored upholstery, pairing it with dark timber, brushed metal or quiet neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
