Haldon Indigo

Whitworth Fabric FabricCCF0739-05

Haldon Indigo is a strongly tonal woven stripe, pairing deep blue-indigo bands with lighter slate-blue stripes. The close, softly textured surface gives the colourway depth without losing the crisp vertical rhythm.

About this fabric

The substantial 425gsm cloth has a fine woven texture that visibly softens the contrast between its dark indigo and cooler slate-blue stripes. With a 138cm usable width, it is well suited to upholstery applications where the vertical stripe can be set to emphasise the lines of a chair, sofa or headboard. The horizontal pattern repeat is 9.2cm, while the 0cm vertical repeat allows the stripe to continue cleanly along the length. The standard roll length is 35 metres.

How to use it

Use Haldon Indigo on a tailored sofa or statement armchair against chalky neutrals, pale timber or brushed metal. Its cool, saturated blue depth also works well as a structured contrast to warm oak and cognac leather.

Use the deep indigo and slate-blue stripe to bring tailored contrast to sofas, headboards and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
